Catholic Discussion Guides

A Catholic discussion guide made for your group, ready to run.

Tell us about your group and the theme, Scripture passage or teaching you want to talk about. You get a finished guide written for them: the readings, questions that get people talking, and a prayer to close. Print it or open it on a phone, and read the prompts aloud.

For whoever is leading the conversation

You know your group. Tell us who's coming and what you want to talk about, and the guide is written for those people, not for an audience in general.

  • Parish small groups
  • OCIA and Confirmation
  • Youth and young adults
  • Parents and families
  • Men's and women's groups
  • Religious education classes

No preparation required. Read the guide through once, then lead from the page.

What's in your guide

  • A warm-up that leads into the readings, so the group knows where the conversation is going, and a closing prayer to end each session.
  • One or two readings per session, chosen for your theme or built around your passage.
  • Questions that open conversation, from "What stood out to you?" to questions that take people deeper.
  • Leader notes beside the questions: what to listen for, and how to draw a quiet group out.
  • Scripture and the Catechism, cited so you can look anything up.
  • One to three sessions, for a single evening or a short series.

Each of these was made the same way yours will be. Open one and read it the way you would before a session.

How it works

  1. 1. Tell us about your group

A few short questions: your theme or Scripture passage, who's coming, and how many sessions you want.

  2. 2. Check out securely

Pay by card through Stripe. $9.99 for a single session, $5 for each extra one. No account needed.

  3. 3. Open it and lead

Your guide arrives by email with a private link. Print it or open it on a phone. Read the questions aloud.

Faithful to the Church

Every guide draws on Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and cites them so you can check. Where the Church teaches clearly, the guide says so. Where the Church leaves room, it asks open questions rather than offering opinions.

A guide is a resource for your group, not an official publication of the Church. Bring questions of faith to your pastor, deacon or catechist.

Questions

Is this written by AI?

Yes. Each guide is written by AI from your answers, and every check it gets is automatic. Its quotations are checked against the full text of the Bible and the Catechism, and the whole guide is reviewed against our content rules before it's sent.

No person reviews your guide before you receive it. No priest, catechist or theologian reads it first. AI is a tool here, not a pastor or a teacher of the faith, so read your guide through before the session and bring questions of faith to your parish.

Do I need to prepare?
Only a read-through. The guide has the prayer, readings, questions and leader notes in order, so you can lead straight from the page.
How many sessions can a guide have?
One to three. A single-session guide is $9.99, and each additional session is $5. See pricing.
Can I print it?
Yes. Guides are formatted for print, and they read just as well on a phone.
What if something goes wrong?
If we can't produce your guide, we refund you in full. For help with an order, reply to your guide email or write to staff@mjt.pub.
